White Sands Missile Park

Here are a few pictures that I took at The Missile Park at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico. I took these photos in Sept. 1997. If you like a particular picture, just click on it to see a bigger version of it.

These photos are of an obviously new addition to the collection. The paint is still in colors other than white and black, and there is no placard to tell anyone what it is. It appears to be some variety of target drone by Beechcraft.

Here we can see several different missiles with an Aerobee in the foreground. In the background is a Loon and a flying saucer, among others.
	And here are some close ups of the booster and sustainer fins of the Aerobee.

Next up is the TALOS.

These photos were taken with an Olympus OM-4 with Kodachrome film. The scanning was done with a HP Photo Smart scanner.
